The Japanese-Swedish mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB presented today (17 June) three new phones for GSM networks at the CommunicAsia show in Singapore.
The T600, weighing less than 60 grams, is a triple-band phone with multimedia messaging service (MMS) messaging, a calendar, WAP, and gaming that gives the player physical feedback with vibrations. Market availability is expected in the third quarter of this year.
The company also presented the T300 with a snap-on, digital zoom enabled camera, CommuniCam MCA-25. The mass-market phone comes with a 256 colour screen and multimedia applications like imaging, messaging and gaming. Other features include triple-band GSM/GPRS, polyphonic ring signals and MMS. Both products will be on the market in the fourth quarter of this year.
The third new Sony Ericsson GSM phone is the T200, for the lower-price market segment. The T200 is also a GPRS enabled triple-band phone and comes with five games, a calendar and messaging capabilities. It offers up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of stand-by time. First shipments are expected in the second quarter of this year.
