Motorola and The Music Solution Ltd. announced the launch of downloadable ring tones for select Motorola iDEN handsets. This will allow users of Motorola handsets to personalize their phones' ring styles with a wide variety of licensed musical titles. UK-based wireless content provider The Music Solution has developed MIDI ring tones for mobile phones from song titles currently being provided by EMI Music Publishing. These ring tones are created in 16-chord polyphonic MIDI format, which results in much richer, fuller sounding compositions compared to traditional monophonic ring tones. The ring tones will be compatible with the recently announced Motorola i95c1 color display phone.
